Portable Handmade Brew - DOWAN ceramic pour-over coffee dripper lets you have a traditional, hands-on brewing experience. You can have a cup or two of coffee whenever and wherever you want, without the help of a machine.
Three holes Dripping Design - The unique three-hole drip design makes the coffee flow more concentrated, and ensures the proper brewing time to fully extract the coffee flavor.
Thoughtful Design - The V-shaped conical design can make the coffee powder pile higher, thereby prolonging the contact time with water and making it easy to fully infuse the coffee.
Inner Wall Vertical Rib - The inner wall of this coffee pour over adopts a vertical groove design, and the distance between the filter paper and the wall of the filter cup is reserved to fully extract the coffee essence.
High Quality Material: The pour-over coffee maker is made of high-fired ceramic, with good heat preservation and durability. This coffee dripper can greatly prevents heat loss than wire mesh filter during brewing, fit for most mugs and thermoses.
This makes a great cup of coffee- smooth and not bitter. Often, I don’t want to make a pot of coffee and this is the solution. Just remember to fill the water to just below the top and keep it at that level until the cup is about 2/3 full. Just a little trick I’ve learned along the way. Thanks!Mainly, I wanted to try a ceramic cone over plastic one I was using. It is substantial almost to the point of being a bit thicker then need be. I’m careful with it, as it seems like it could be knocked off and break if you’ve got a jumble of coffee making accoutrement on your counter. There are pros and cons to me of the four drip holes. Yes it distributes coffee faster but if you are making two mugs at same time -as I am- you have to hold sponge under it while moving to other mug. Splatters dripping coffee outside of mug. But that’s a very picky personal point, isn’t it? As most would just finish one mug before starting drip in second mug!! Well you asked for my opinion. But it is a superior quality construction I freely admit. Beautiful color of brown. Handsome on any counter. It makes better flavored coffee than my French press. Is easy to use and way easier to clean. It makes one cup of coffee at a time. This is ok… that way if I want a 2nd cup.., I make fresh, hot coffee. The quality of this Melita type coffee thing is high. It feels like a hefty ceramic coffee cup (with holes in the bottom). It has what looks like a saucer. This is by large enough to fit over every one of my coffee cups. So it doesn’t matter which one I pick. I do have to add more boiling water if I’m using my largest cup. This B is mot an inconvenience. I like this way to make coffee. Worth the money.!Everything I have found using this:Only takes a couple minutes longer than a Mr. Coffee, and flavor is more robust and has more intensity than machine made.I drink a MUG of coffee, which typically holds 2 cups (16 ounces), and this fits perfectly on top the typical size mug. Number 2 cone filters fit perfectly, alternatively you can use a reusable cone filter. I prefer paper filters.I micro the water in a measuring pitcher until it reaches boiling. I then use a small measuring cup to slowly pour over until the pitcher is almost empty, then pour over the rest, letting it drip on its own. The elongated bottom, (rather than pointed like stainless) affords a better emersion of grounds.NOTE: I have used a stainless pour over filter for quite some time, and I find this ceramic makes a much better mug of coffee!!!I replaced a white ceramic dripper that broke. I chose the brown color, so discoloration over time will not show - and that is a nice feature of this dripper. My only complaint is that the coffee in this dripper takes noticeably longer compared to my previous one, likely due to lower profile ripples along the side wall of the funnel. It makes the paper filter stick more to the wall and increases brewing time a little more than I'd like - I preferred my previous dripper in that regard.Otherwise I really like the dripper and recommend it.I had an old one and needed to replace it. Love this one with 3 drip holes that make coffee drip through slower. Definitely can taste difference. I love it. Easy to clean also. The Porcelain Pour Over Coffee Maker, makes the best Slow Brew CoffeeIt is what is advertised. Holds the filter well and has good weight to it. Works well!
