I purchased This fruit item for my son for Christmas. We were very disappointed because when we opened it the flavoring was all dried out and we couldn’t even use it. We ended up having to find a place to purchase flavoring so he could make a snowcone.Got it for a gift & she loved it! She said it made her little girl heart smile!Bought this to give to a LOVE interest. It brought back many happy childhood memories for him :) Amazon could have done a better job packaging it... it arrived in a thin plastic mailer. Thankfully, it was not broken. It will be loved in its new home. Great deal!We were using this to produce shaved ice. You get about a tablespoon every 3 minutes and by the time you fill any reasonable size cup it has melted. DO NOT BUY. It drove my kids crazy. They kept saying "why would anyone sell something that works this badly?" Unless you have INCREDIBLY patient kids, this is a no no. If you are using it, beware, it will drive you crazy. And how many kids do you know that are more patient than adults? PLUS - take a look online - one toy distributor has a video and if you listen carefully even they confess it doesn't really work.I had one of these when I was a kid. My kids had one of these, and now we have given one to my niece. Everyone needs a Snoopy Sno Cone Maker at some point in life! It's a classic for a reason.Takes a little elbow grease to make these but the kids love the end result!Was exactly as advertised. The nostalgia was epic, she loved it.It wasn't quite what I was expecting. I had the original as a child and it was much bigger than this one. I understand it's an updated version, but I was just expecting something else. Also, the packaging was damaged and the box wasn't in the best shape. Considering it was a gift, definitely disappointed.
