I bought this so that I won't have to rely on the frig filter, which is much more expensive and lasts much shorter than my RO system. I checked my local HD and did not find a set like this. That is why I got this set from Amazon.It worked perfectly with my RO system to the frig. No leaks. My only complain is that it does not comes with a 1/4 compression nut to screw onto the the back of the brass frig water inlet. Had to make a trip to the local HD to get one. Although very cheap, but still, it took a trip. Also, shipping is a bit on the high side.Messing with water lines always makes me nervous because of the potential for major damage if it isn't terminated properly. Following the directions and watching a couple of youtube videos made the installation easier. Fittings work great!Used it when I installed the RO system. Everything worked!!!Used it to connect RO system to the ice maker in refrigerator.Exactly what we needed. Easy hook up for non-plumbers.excellent choiceLAS VEGAS, SUMMERLIN. USED ALL (25 FT.
