It's amazing when listening to all these tracks...you've got one sound coming, different and independent of the last one and yet, it all comes together beautifully. My favorites: "Come Close," (the jam); "Aquarius;" "I Got a Right To;" "Jimi;" "I Am Music;" and my second favorite cut besides "Come Close," "New Wave." All the cuts are great and flow beautifully. And it doesn't hurt that Common has some of my favorite vocalists on this project: Erykah, Jill and Mary J. This CD got my attention when I first played it. I liked Common's daring to put out a CD that was so original. Then one day I was listening to it with my "listening ears" on and it just moved me. A CLASSIC and one CD to definitely own!
