Guillaume Perret & The Electric Epic - Jazz Fusion Album | Modern Experimental Jazz Music for Relaxation, Study & Creative Inspiration

Heavy, intense, lyrical, trippy, romantic, virtuosis, imaginative etc., all those labels come to mind while listening to any 1 minute segement picked anywhere on this cd. This is equal parts Jazz-Rock and Prog-Rock influenced but most importantly it has fantastic compositions and beyond-intense playing by the young virtuosos who form this band. I'd say maybe one of out every 1000 people who buys a King Crimson or Zappa album has any idea that there are actually still a very few bands in existence that can come up to the level of those legendary groups and this group of Perret's is the top one.
