It works fine, but you can’t overstuff it.This is a great item. This cooks more quickly and more evenly than our old one. It heats up quickly, too.My only complaint is that after owning it for only 5 months the plastic clip that holds the top and bottom together broke and I can't repair it. I wasn't even using the thing when it broke; I was just closing the lid after I had removed my quesadilla. I hope it will function as well without that piece as there is no way to repair it. ?Use this often at my house and when my mother would visits she would use it and always compliment to ease of use. I end up ordering her one for a fun Xmas gift.Clean up is easyI bought this as a gift for my brother he’s used it Multiple times works great only downfall was when he opened it the chili pepper which clips down to endure the quesadilla is cooked properly was snapped off and I bought it a few weeks earlier than his birthday now I can’t exchange it so other than Being stuck with a broken quesadilla maker it still works great lolI love it. I even bought one for my daughter’s family and they love it as well. I eat a quesadilla almost every night. I use low carb tortillas and precooked chicken.I love how easy it is to use, clean. It makes a nice crispy outside.Great for a quick lunch at home with the family.Cheese , Cheese everywhere to clean off the the machine. We did cheese only and added cooked shredded chicken also. It was hard to shut and lock down cheese leaked out all sides every time. Thoughts of returning but we are not sure what we are doing wrong. We had another brand and had no problems like this before. It a work progress for us and might find another. The lights red and green both light up when it is turned on, by the time the green glows it is a little burnt!
