My Australian Shepherd is a farm dog. He was bit by a rattle snake about 2 months ago. Since had his cone of shame on for a very long time unable to reach his rump and with it agitating the fur around his neck, he was a mess.I had tried giving him a bath and brushing him and using a special brush to get mats out but I just felt like he has had enough recent pain to his skin. Also i used scissors to cut one of the clumps during a bath the center wasn't even wet or soapy.I tried the buzzers that my husband uses to give my boys mohawks. It got the mats off but it took so long that I got tired. It was laughable and I used the scissors.I was VERY hesitant and skeptical that $40ish trimmers would do the job.Or that they would be much different than the ones I had.I came in after and ordered these. I read some reviews where someone had compared 4 different trimmers in German. It was helpful but I didn't want to spend the money and the mid-range priced ones were out of stock. So I followed someone else's advice that these are pretty much all the same with different logos on them and just picked my price.I just gave my dog a trim easily! Did the whole job in one go.It was quite at first but Cody doesn't seem to mind the noise either way. I gave him a thick mohawk down his back.Keeping in line with his ears.At first I couldn't use any guards because it would get stuck. So I did it free hand. It was like butter! I put the short guard on to straighten him up and make it even thT worked out well.Over all using this just the one time, I'm happy and would recommend these to pet owners with thick fured pets!At under $20 I would say that this clipper did exceed expectations. It’s not a professional grade clipper however unlike most cheap clippers this one actually lasts a long time and this is my second order so I would definitely recommendThis was the only product I was able to purchase for a reasonable price at the time COVID began swamping the US in mid-late March. I do not regret buying these clippers, especially because the low noise feature is EXTREMELY important. I like that I can get a close cut and move freely around while grooming my Cocker Spaniel. It is great because it definitely withstands mats and thick fur. The only downer is that the charging time is so long. So if you are to get these clippers, make sure you are in no rush as the charging time is 3 hours and the running time is 120 minutes.The charger doesn't fit the device so it is impossible the recharge. Oy.I was skeptical of this product because "noise free" and price. I actually really love these clippers. It is very little sound and with the ceramic blade doesn't get hot like my other clippers. I would have to take lots of breaks in shaving to let the clippers cool even with the cooling spray. I had both my schnauzies done in less then 2 hours with these and they wiggle a lot. I haven't had these clippers for long, so I can't say how they'll be over time. But, so far, so good.
