Loved these when we got them. Got them for my Kindergarten aged daughter who loves to wear dresses, so I wanted something cute but practical for school so she can still run around and play. They didn't even last a month. They cracked where the shoe bends and now there is a bubble between the silver and the plastic shell. Dirt got in there and it looks nasty. More importantly to me, they fit well, seem to be sturdy, and have good tying laces. She's been wearing them for only a few weeks, but thus far the shininess has remained shiny and not fallen off or anything. So no complaints.
