I’ve tried so many different brands and this one has my “best packaged miso soup” vote! It’s just right, not too salty, right flavor, and overall delicious.Bought for a short business stay at Air B & B. Mixed with microwave rice and had a great healthy delish meal! I avoided expensive less healthy take out and was Easy/lightweight to pack for plane travel. I would buy again.This s my favorite miso with shiitake, tofu, white miso- a delicious, satisfying healthy breakfast or lunch!!First found this product at my local grocery store, bought them out but they've not restocked.This is absolute comfort food by the cup. Taste like my favorite Japanese restaurants miso but in a packet; almost questioned id they used this product.I started by using 1 packet which equals 1 cup, to two packets. Then I began, despite owning miso paste, using a few packets for my homemade miso. It includes the kombu and enough of it to create your own pot of soup.Down the road I have used 3 packets along with local tofu to transcend this product which I deem versatile.To current I've been using it as a comfort glass of soup before bed. Its like hot coacoa on a cold day.Amazing product by itself but can also provide company to any dish.No complaints from me.This was unexpectedly delicious! Tastes just like ordering it at a restaurant. Loved it!This miso soup is the best that can be expected from a pouch. It tastes very close to what you get at (American) Japanese restaurants. It is quick to prepare, and has clean ingredients (no flavor-enhancing additives).It taste's really good, but for me the sodium level is high. Good for breaks for work when I didn't get a chance to pull together something better.This comes in lightweight packets that would be great for travel use. I add some rice or whatever else is lying around to make it more substantial, but it's good just as it is.
