It is to big for what I wanted to use it for.I like these bowls because of their depth and how much they hold. I would have given five stars but I had trouble when I received them getting them apart. Two were stuck so tight I didn't think I would ever get them apart. I tried heating the bottom one with hot water (to expand it) and putting cooler water in the top one. I tried putting them in water in the microwave. My husband suggested oiling them and when I sprayed cooking oil generously around the rim of the lower one they came apart right away. Also, after I ordered these, I found the plain white ones cheaper and with no shipping at our local Walmart. Plain white would have been fine with me and I would have bought those if I had seen them first.Love Corelle! This bowl is great for cereal, soup, pasta, salad ... anything you want a large quantity of to eat. It’s a large bowl and is microwave and dishwasher safe.exactly what i orderedJust perfectCorelle is light-weight and durable. This set is excellent value. We use the 28oz bowls at every meal - from breakfast cereal to lunch soups (holds contents of a 19oz ready-to-serve can of soup) to dinner stir fry or stew.Possibly useful tip: the black plastic lids from supermarket coffee sold in large 33-39oz plastic containers (for example Folgers) snaps nicely over the lip on the 28oz bowls, making them very useful also for storage in the fridge.I thought I was ordering a set of four bowls, just as I had done in Feb. 2018 (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B013H0JX48/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I paid $22 then. Instead, I made a mistake a ordered this, which is only ONE BOWL. I'm not going to pay $20 for one bowl, no matter how nice it is. I returned it and will try to order the four-bowl set.I thought I was getting 4 bowls... $15.00 for 1 bowl is a rip off!!! You can buy them at Walmart for $4.97 a bowl...
