I think the title really says it. They have that warm rich tone that’s great for jazz but enough power to cut through the drums when playing prog or metal. I give the strings 4 stars on longevity and value because I haven’t been playing them long enough to wear out the first set (about 3 weeks). I like them enough that I ordered another set for when it’s time to change them.Update after 3 months: Still on the first set, can’t complain about longevity. The gold plating has worn off the plain wire where I play the most but the sound and feel hasn’t changed. Time to change the strings, glad I have an extra set.
