I just received this, and I do believe that my package was preopened. The cardboard boxes were ripped inside and 2 bottles were "unwrapped". I do not have anything missing - so that is good. I purchased 2 60L bottles of CO2 seperately. I filled all 3 bottles with water and put them in the fridge (cold water fizzes the best). After 24 hours I took out first bottle, took off the cap, put on the "fizzerator" nozzle and created fizzy water. You cannot over fizz the water as the bottle only holds so much pressure. If you put in too much a "squeaky" noise comes out the top when pushing on the nozzle, which you know means stop pushing. I give 3 quick pushes and am done, take it off the "machine". The first time I did not turn the bottle upside down and when I opened it there was a "pfft" noise, however the water was quite bubbly. The second time I did it, I did 3 bottle turns, not harsh, just tilting to get bottom water to top; take off the nozzle top and it was still just as fizzy. I don't think it produces as much bubbles as polar seltzer water, but pretty darn close. I do like my water bubbly. Hopefully this will continue to work. I prefer this over the soda stream as (1) you dont need to screw the bottle into the machine to fizz it up, it has a seperate nozzle lid that you screw on, then place the bottle on the stand; and (2) my soda stream always "leaked" where the bottle screwed into the stand and I never got enough bubbles out of it; (3) it has a smaller countertop footprint. I put mine in the back corner right next to my smoothie blender and it works fine. The bottles are tall so they do have to be laid down in the fridge, but that is OK with me. I will update if I have issues - I go through at least 2L of fizzy water a day so this will get a lot of use and I am hoping it will save me a ton of money. Right now seltzer water is expensive and I don't like all the flavors. I plan on finding coconut extract (real, not imitation) - I don't like sweetened flavors - for now I just add lemon or lime to it and its all good
