I've done quite a bit of research before purchasing this espresso maker and waited for a month and a half to write a review. I use this moka pot everyday sometimes twice.First off, let's start off with the coffee. It's the best coffee I've ever made. Before this, I was using a drip machine and switching over to this moka pot certainly released the best tasting coffee I ever made. Coffee, espresso...it really wins in both categories. Now let's talk abut design. I've seen some reviews saying it's aluminum. It's not. This is 100% stainless steel and quality steel at that. I expressly wanted to veer away from aluminum as some of you know that's not ideal for health.Nonetheless, it is not flimsy as some have suggested. The bottom chamber is not brushed within and is a different finish then the top and that's due to technique. That bottom chamber is super sturdy and you wouldn't want something this sturdy to drop on your foot. That's for all the comments that says it's cheap and flimsy cause it's not.One feature that I have to point out is the spout. It mesmerizes me every time. You want to talk about no drip...no drip...not even one. It's such a clean pour that I am in awe of the craftsmanship of the design. I haven't spilled not once. It's really by far a great moka pot that stands at the top of its competitors. The handle is sturdy and while it gets a little hot it doesn't get as hot as the main body. And let me say I use a gas stove. It's really well crafted. Depending on your heat tolerance you may just have to get a mitten to grab it or not. Some days I do, most days I don't.And just to keep all cards on the table, this is my own review. Not sponsored, nobody asked me and I paid for this pot myself. It's really a great product that truly stands tall above the rest. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.I bought this because I have a glass cooktop. Easy to use, easy to clean, makes some good, strong coffee !This is like so many products today. We bought one, it worked great. Then, we bought a second because we make a lot of caps and don't want a bigger pot. The threads on the second are just loose enough that steam escapes between the top and bottom of the pot. Both tops work with the other bottom. I guess it's a quality control issue. Sees like there are a lot of products out there that are hit and miss regarding quality.Broke my last stove top espresso maker. This is the replacement. Its beautiful!! Just so pretty and elegant. Looks much more expensive and well made!! It doesn't feel like u will break the handle when unscrewing it. Make enough for 4 shots or 3 good size espresso. I have used espresso grind and the cafe du monde both worked well. I usually make cafe con lech so it's good for 4. Easily takes apart for cleaning, I hand washEs fuerte. Fácil de abrir, cuela limpio y tiene un brillo hermoso, no se opaca ni se empaña.Just out of the box, the lid was mis-shapen and bent, no problem, just ask your four-year old to bend it back straight. Afterall, it's tissue-thin and flimsy stainless, why it bent in shipping no doubt. Overall, seems OK, but really, when are we all gonna give up on Chinese-made garbage and go back to spending a few $'s on something that's actually quality made (not name-brand, made in China, but made somewhere that people still care about their craftsmanship...). If you want a pot that will likely bend the lid off (or break at the hinge) sometime soon, rendering it pretty useless, get this. If you want something that actually lasts, move along..., nothing to see here...I was pleasantly surprised with this! I needed a Cuban coffee maker for my induction stove and this works perfectly!Very sturdy and heavy...not flimsy at all.Works ok induction.works nicely, great taste and filter coffee very well, no residues at the end.
