Fast cooking optionI cook rice in the rice maker. I makes perfect rice!para nada , se hizo perfecto elarroz las dos primeras veces y ya despues no volvio a salir bienThis is a cute rice maker, very ingenious. It's a little pricey but, what the hey, I have Tupperware that's lasted 30 years, so I figure it's a good product. Unfortunately, with this delivery the instructions came in Spanish only. What the? I'm used to Spanish, you flip it over, Vietnamese, flip over again, and then you get English. But nooooo. So, I went on You Tube and there are video demonstrations, but boy are they painful to watch. Nor is there anything that addresses working with my very low watt micro.I guess sooner or later I can figure out the right proportions and cooking times for my particular situation. Meanwhile, I thought I'd have a nice little rice dinner with some leftover turkey stirred in. But noooo. Turkey soup is more like it.C'mon, Tupperware, you can do better than this, por favor?I have had one of those pasta microwave cookers and LOVE IT!!! So I saw this and thought it would be a time saver/hassle free way to cook rice - So I ordered it - I received my Tupperware Microwave Rice Maker and couldn't hardly wait to use - I washed it - Read the directions - Got out my rice and in the microwave it went - When it came out I had a "RICE BRICK" that started to burn and left dents in the bottom of the Tupperware - I haven't had a chance to go back and read the directions again to see what I did wrong - But I know I must have done something wrong :o( I KNOW Tupperware has always made GREAT products - So I will give it another shot :o) If anyone has any tips I COULD SURE USE THEM!!!This product is totally useless. The photograph was deceptive, because it look like it is a full size Tupperware rice-maker that can be used to cook many grains. The description never stated that it is an extreme \miniature version that only cooks extremely small amounts of only white rice. It is the size of a large coffee mug and can make a fraction more than one cup of COOKED white rice at a time. I do not believe it is new, as the packaging is not included and the instruction booklet is wrinkled with moisture. I feel as if I have been the victim of a bait-and-switch ploy.I have not used because the instructions were missing. I think tupperware has great products but I might return this Rice Maker if I can't figure out how to use it. I am wondering if this is a returned item and that is why the instructions are missing. So I can't really rate the Rice Maker.I am happy to say that I don't need an electrical rice cooker anymore ! Great rice, simple and goes on the dishwasher.What a shame that there's not rice spoon and cup with it...
