This is our third one: First had to be returned due to damage in shipping; second, present one, heat control quit working. I've not used a rotisserie grill before, so I can make no comparrisons.Pros: Affordable for an electric grill; two modes, rotissering and regular cooking, works well in both modes; stand alone, no cart required, good for limited-space use; easy to assemble (little assembly ruequired); light and small enought to be easily portable; if tipped over, no possibility of fire as with a charcoal grill and may be permitted where charcoal grills are not due to fire danger.Cons: Cheaply made, appears to be a light tin; difficult (near impossible) to clean properly; reflecting pan under heating coils detaches easily from coils and impossible to reattach but still usable with pan detached; window useless; small hole in bottom for grease to escape, no way to wipe out under refelcting pan; heat inadequate to sear steak; major problem with device designed to hold coils/pan in rotissering position so I had to support the coils in that position with external device.I may be putting too much emphasis on cleaning but presence of grease could draw critters.Although I have plenty of negatives, obviously we enjoy the food cooked on this unit enought that we are buying another. What I will do differently with the new unit is maybe trying to clean with boiling water to remove grease, alhough the greases poses no problem (other than critter thing) being that it's under the reflecting pan and not close enough to heat to ignite.
