I read the question and answer in this product page it said no converter is needed. I set for 10 minutes and nothing is happening. Doesn’t heat up at all. I am sending it back. I asked my friend that no converter is needed, maybe I bought a defective one.The first one $163 was returned and bought another one for $174 (tax not included) found out it is about $30 more expensive if you purchase from where it is imported so it is not really free shipping. The second heats up nicely. It’s also made in China and the hot plates are actually Teflon coated. If you worry about toxin than think twice before buying. Feels like all the money went into purchase Snoopy patent so I can make Snoopy sandwich.There is a learning curve you gotta overcome. After that, very fun.I truly recommend YouTubing all the review before buying.
