They are light weight.(but they are plastic and not porcelain) But if you like the oriental feel of a spoon then they are perfect. They are flattish on the bottom which goes well against the bowl edge to make sure you don't drip on you.Disappointed, they're tiny! I just wanted a regular Chinese style Won Ton soup spoon that is deep to hold broth and wide enough to hold a won ton dumpling. I'm sending these back. I doubt these even hold much more liquid as a teaspoon (maybe a little more) and they are very shallow in depth. I didn't think this would be that hard to find. I'll try other options.I love these spoons. I use them everyday whether it's for eating soup, cereal , or as a coffee scoop. I just like the feedability better than a regular spoon cuz it's like using a small bowl to eat from a big bowl haha. I slowly lost my last set so I bought another set to replace it.Normal size Asian soup spoon in what I consider to be classic colors.Every time I go to a Japanese restaurant I always said how I would love to have spoons like these at home. They are as described and hard plastic like and exactly like the picture, seller described.These feel like, if your as old as me, like the old Melmac dishes in the 70's. They are also a bright color and nice addition to my serving tray.I am very happy with the spoons.These sure beat the ceramic ones I keep breaking :) Excellent. Fast delivery.
